systems for most Autodesk software versions 2011 and newer. For product
specific installation instructions or instructions for installing older
versions, please refer to your product documentation.
Software Activation: Entering a serial number during installation does not activate your software. When you launch your software for the first time, you will need to activate your software online or manually activate your Autodesk software by requesting an activation code. Offline activation requests submitted through the Web form can take up to 48 hours to complete—you can use your software as a free trial or activate your software online to get up and running faster.

- Launch the Product Installer by double-clicking the .exe or .dmg file associated with your product and version.
- Select the Installation Instructions language and click Install. See Selecting the Installation Type for information about other installation options.
- Read the License and Services Agreement for your Country or Region, select I Accept and click Next.
- Select a Product Language if presented with the option. See Selecting the Product Language to learn about language download options before starting software installation.
- Select Stand-Alone as the License Type.
7. Click Install to proceed with the default configuration and installation location (recommended). For custom installation, you can select or deselect individual software components and specify a different installation path (not exceed 260 characters).
8. Click Finish to close the installer. When the installation is finished you'll see a list of the software components that have been installed on your computer.
